The 2033 vision

Why fly to Zambia?

As a country with eight neighbouring countries, Zambia serves as a highly effective distribution hub for further spread into Africa.

For decades, the Global South has experienced explosive growth in faith. Millions have heard the Gospel, yet many remain undiscipled and unprepared for the task ahead.

Meanwhile, just across the continent in North Africa, over 400 unreached people groups, totalling more than 408 million people, live with virtually no access to the Gospel.

The mission force is waiting, but Africa needs to be equipped.

Equipping the next generation.

URstory SandBoxBible exists to bridge this gap. We focus on transforming evangelized believers into deeply rooted, fully trained disciples.

By utilizing interactive, hands-on SandBoxBible tools, we equip believers across Africa to become the next generation of missionaries, trained and ready to reach North Africa.

Trusting God for a small aircraft.

To make this vision a reality, URstory is trusting God for a small 4-seater aircraft: a reliable single-engine piston plane, ideal for flight training and regional cross-country trips.

Vision of URstory

A sustainable orality movement.

The vision of URstory is to empower the global Church with simple, high-impact oral resources that mobilize believers to reach and disciple the unevangelized.

While much of Africa is considered evangelized, lack of contextualized discipleship has left millions without deep biblical foundations. A primary cause is the mismatch in communication: traditional Western mission models relied heavily on written materials in cultures that thrive on oral storytelling and visual expression. Furthermore, digital access remains severely limited across vast regions of the continent.

URstory bridges this gap through visual, sand-based storytelling resources that facilitate dynamic scripture engagement anywhere, in any language, requiring nothing more than hands and earth. By combining natural oral translation principles with tactile learning, URstory empowers native storytellers of all education levels to experience, retain, and pass on the Bible, sparking a reproducible, self-sustaining discipleship movement across Africa and beyond.

Mission of URstory

To eliminate biblical poverty.

The mission of URstory is to eliminate biblical poverty by equipping leaders and communities across Africa, Asia, and beyond with SandBoxBibles, providing tangible, oral-visual scripture resources where physical Bibles are scarce or unavailable.

Core initiatives and strategic roadmap.

01

Equipping and discipleship training

Offering a foundational 1-week, University of the Nations (UofN) accredited training programme on the Garden Route in South Africa, training leaders to effectively use and multiply SandBoxBibles.

02

Target outreaches

Global: collaborating with YWAM outreaches, we can reach the entire world.

2027

03

Motorcycle outreaches

Expanding distribution through overland motorcycle missions across Southern Africa, including Lesotho, Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Eswatini, Mozambique, and Angola.

04

Aviation missions

Believing for a 4-seater aircraft to launch air missions into landlocked regions, strategically positioning Zambia, a nation bordered by eight countries, as an overland and aerial distribution hub.

Target 2033

05

Overland transportation

Seeking a reliable double-cab utility vehicle (bakkie) to navigate rough terrain, transport SandBoxBibles, and facilitate student outreach logistics across Southern Africa.

Trusting for a JAC 2×4 bakkie.

06

Long-term sustainable manufacturing

Scaling local production by placing CNC machines on every continent, followed by strategic YWAM/UofN hubs in key nations, ensuring self-sustaining, localized production of SandBoxBibles worldwide.

This is very doable: YWAM bases can buy this CNC machine, and URstory will supply the templates.
